Recipe for “Farofa” with Bacon:
500g of The Authentic Brazilian Seasoned Cassava Flour
2 onions chopped
300g of butter
300g of smoked bacon chopped in cubes
Fresh parsley chopped (optional)
How to prepare:
Using a frying pan on a medium heat gently fry the bacon until golden and crispy. Then add the onion and butter and cook until the onion has softened and the butter is melted. Add the Authentic Brazilian Seasoned Cassava Flour and mix together. If the mixture looks a bit dry add a bit more of butter to it. Add fresh parsley and turn off the heat. Best served accompanying Black Beans Stew.
