Cashew
Frozen Pulp
The indigenous name of cashew,
"acaiu" means "reproducing nut". Native to tropical America, it is commonly
found in the North and Northesat of Brazil. The flesh part (a pseudo-fruit
formed by the peduncie) is delicious in the form of drinks, containing
high levels of vitamin C. The nut (this is actually the fruit) is an essential
ingredient in many typical dishes of the Northeast region.
Nutrition Proprieties
The flesh of cashew is a
good source of minerals such as Sodium, Calcium and vitamins such as Beta-carotene
and Complex B. Cashew nuts are good carbohydrate, protrein and fat source.
Uses
The pulp can be used in
preparation of juice, ice cream, wine, liqueur or sweets.

Cut the middle and squeeze the
ends

Add 150ml water, milk or orange
juice and honey
