Coconuts yield both white
fleshy pulp and refreshing water, both of which are well known and appreciated.
Normally the green coconut has a larger amount of water than when ripe.
The tender pulp makes coconut a main ingredient in the preparation of many
traditional Brazilian dishes.
Nutrition Proprieties
Coconut helps strengthen
bones and is used as a stimulant. It contains calcium, phosphorous, potassium,
carbohydrates and vitamins A, B and C, these proprieties varying according
to its maturity.
