Frozen Pulp
Originally from the Amazon
Forest, Cupuacu pulp is much used in the regional cooking. Offering a glass
of Cupuacu juice is a well known tradition among the locals who are proud
to present it to their visitors as the symbol of the Amazon Forest.
Nutrition Proprieties
Diuretic, it acts against
anaemia and increases physical resistance. It contains iron, phosphorous,
proteins, vitamins PP and B1.
Uses
The pulp can be used in
the preparation of juice, ice cream, wine, liqueur or sweets. The seeds
can substitute those of cacao in making chocolate.
Frozen Pulp Preparation

Cut the middle and squeeze the
ends

Add 150ml water, milk or orange
juice and honey
